Volleyball is a fast-paced, team sport played on a court divided by a net. Games are played in four 7-minute periods with a 1-minute break between periods, and teams switch sides at halftime. The objective is to send the ball over the net so the opposing team cannot return it within three touches. Serves must clear the net, and players are allowed one re-serve if they commit a fault, such as stepping over the line or hitting the net. Substitutions are allowed, giving teams flexibility to rotate players and keep everyone involved.
In our mixed leagues, teams have six players on the court, with no more than three men at a time. Men cannot start next to each other in the same row or column, ensuring balanced and strategic play. These rules create a fun, inclusive environment where teamwork, communication, and skill are as important as power and height.
